Eolas, Microsoft and Active Content

Another chapter in the fallout between Microsoft and Eolas.

Rather than license the browser plug-in patent from Eolas, Microsoft chose to make changes to the default handling of ActiveX Controls by Internet Explorer.

Now Eolas wants Microsoft to stop browser distribution.
