I have been waiting to see Fahrenheit 9/11 every since it turned up in the cinemas months ago and I have been more or less following its progress on the internet.
It was finally out on DVD this week.
I have resisted the urge to pre-order it at Amazon because I had this sinking feeling that it wouldn't be subtitled and sure enough, when I turned up at my local WH Smith store, I couldn't find any subtitling information on the DVD. I resisted the urge to ask the sales attendant to play the DVD and confirm the lack of subtitles because I have asked in the past and have been told that it isn't possible to do this; something to do with the age rating on the DVD. I know the sales attendant made the excuse up but I get this same excuse at Blockbuster, Virgin etc
Anyway, Fahrenheit 9/11 is another in a long line of DVDs that I will not be able to watch because there are no English subtitles (another recent release that upset me because of the lack of subtitles was Bertolucci's The Last Emperor.)
